Since September 2016 we’re also working in the city Cugir in the district Alba.

In this city with its large concrete apartment blocks there is hardly any help for the many Roma families in poverty. For the children there is hardly anything to do, causing them to be out on the streets most of the time.

 

In Cugir we’re working with the same concept as in Reghin. We’re first building relationships with the people through home visits and taking time for them.

 

Next to that our team organizes several children programs for both older and younger children. For teenage boys a soccer team has started here also. In this way we’re building in a positive way, strong, healthy relationships.

 

The adults are meeting in a home group and a small church is coming into existence.

 

Families in severe need are being taken into the Bread to Live sponsor programme in Cugir.
